Who I used to be and feel suddenly got replaced by an overwhelming feeling of desperation and panic.

After my second baby was born, I had debilitating depression for years. 

It literally impacted every aspect of my life. 

I wanted to eventually have another baby, but was barely able to take care of the kids I had. 

I knew something needed to change.

This cookbook has literally been YEARS in the making!!! 

If you had told me 10 years ago that I would completely cut out sugar, I would have said you were insane. 

I literally ate cookie dough balls for lunch, would pound a bag of Costco chocolate almonds every week, and had at least a triple scoop of Blue Bell ice cream every night. 

I haven't had ANY sugar since 2016 and don't miss it because of these recipes!!

My husband and I struggled for years trying to find the right tools and resources to help me feel myself again. 

Along the way, we found that sugar was a big trigger for me. I literally would be stuck in bed for days after eating it. For the sake of my little kids and my marriage, I had to cut out sugar.

Holidays, parties, and family nights felt like a big pity party because I couldn't enjoy all the foods I had loved so much. 

I knew I had to figure out a way to make healthy versions of what I loved. 

I couldn't keep having major depression dips and I didn't want to feel so sad about missing out on all the food I had enjoyed. 

So for years I experimented, dumped, experimented, dumped...then dumped some more...and went through a lot of really gross but 'healthy recipes'...until the magic happened... 

Friends...I'm just telling you....WE NAILED IT! 

These recipes are insanely good! 

I don't miss anything anymore because we figured out how to recreate everything in a nourishing, healthy way. 
 
Think frostys, pumpkin bars, brownies, cookies, lemon bars, marshmallows, pies, toffee, caramel, fudge...if I missed it, we figured it out. 

I have no problem feeding my kids things like these brownies for breakfast...they are made with almond butter and mineral rich maple syrup!! 

My family begs me to make the chocolate chip cookies.

My husband now has completely come off sugar because these all taste so good!!

My kids love them. My friends and family love them. I LOVE THEM!
